| Was Vehicle Towed: - | Description of the Complaints: Tire tread separated while returning from vacation in florida on 30 july 2000. tire pressure was checked and all tires held 32 psi prior to return trip. tread separation caused the rear of our vehicle to slide from side to side and nearly roll. had it not been late at night with no traffic in nearby lanes, the grace of god, and some driving skill the outcome would have very very different for my family. as of 31 august we're still waiting on the local firestone dealer to respond to our request for replacement tires.( dot number: vn08 ipu tire size: p235-70r16 ) |
