| Was Vehicle Towed: - | Description of the Complaints: My vehicle is subject to nhtsa campaign 98v150001 and/or 98v150000. chevrolet is maintaining that my vehicle has already been fixed, although that is not the case. while this may be a rare snafu, it may be part of a pattern of conduct. interestingly, chevrolet has said that if i can produce the records that demonstrate that the work has already been done, they will do the work again. (since the work has never been done, i obviously cannot meet this requirement.) from chevrolet's perspective, i can have the work done twice if i have a record of it having been done once, but i cannot have it done at all if they have a record that it was done previously, but i have no such record. do they think they can win with this logic? does nhtsa monitor the implementation of these recalls? do you know that this is gm's policy? |
