| Was Vehicle Towed: - | Description of the Complaints: The tensioner pulley that runs the timing belt is made of plastic. the pulley melted causing the timing belt to seize and the water pump to fail. my mechanic called the chrysler dealer in my area and was informed that this is a known defect in the concorde. the replacement pulley is made of metal. if this is a known defect that causes such extensive/expensive damage, why is this not a recall? the repair cost me $879.00. |
