Was Vehicle Towed: - | Description of the Complaints: I only used the sofa rear seat occasionally. had a child using it last friday and had to make a sudden stop. the seat belt came apart and i found that it had been pieced together with staples. the conversion company refuses to accept responsibility. after they found out i only had 14,000 miles on the van, that agreed to supply the part, but they will not pay for the labor. i have had the van for 4 years, but previously only used it to transport a handicapped child in the front or middle areas. i was very lucky that the child in the faulty seat belt was not injured. i feel that the conversion company who installed the belt was negligent and it could have caused a major injury. |
