Was Vehicle Towed: - Description of the Complaints: This is the third blowout of this tire type in just over 12,000 miles. first two were reported on one dot form. this is 3 out of 6 tires to blow in 12,000 miles (just statistics?). all tires have now been replaced by michelins. want to make a bet no blowouts in next 12,000 miles. my wife did not want to go on last trip, after two previous blowouts till tires were replaced. i talked her into it because temp was only 85 degrees and i said i would not exceed 55 mph. tire still blew after 90 minutes of driving. tire looks identical in failure to previous failures. dearlier that replaced remaining firestone tires said one more was only a matter of hours before letting go also.( dot number: vd1l1xd247 tire size: lt22575r16 )
