Was Vehicle Towed: - | Description of the Complaints: The belt that runs the cooling system & electrical system broke and there was no warning that anything was wrong with the truck. the heat gage was not working because of the belt being broken and the driver did not realize that the engine was overheating. on all other vehicles when the belt brakes the vechicle stops running shortly after because the electrical system is down and your battery runs down. with this mitsubishi the vehicle keeped running because of the double batteries and gave no warning it was overheating. the only way the driver and the passenger know anything was wrong was seeing white smoke when they looked out the outside mirrors. this is a major safety issue because the engine could have caught fire a hurt the passengers. this vehicle made a 3 year unlimted mile warranty and the manufacturer will not stand up to it. please get in touch with us. |
