| Was Vehicle Towed: - | Description of the Complaints: Tire blew out completely around total perimeter of sidewall. tires wer e purchased on 8/28/99 dealer said road hazzard waranty had expired due to fact that it was 4 days beyond the 1 year period, blowout caused truct to swerve and almost lost control, damage to tire observed by aaa club at scene. tire replaced by dealer at no cost for same brand due to dispute over billing on an unrelated matter. dealer insisted this was not a recall tire and that the "advisory" on the "ht" did not apply, even though i insisted that i did not fell safe with the tires.( dot number: tire size: 225-70 r14 ) |
