| Was Vehicle Towed: - | Description of the Complaints: Due to the hot weather in phoenix, ceremic caliper? melted to brake and caused the brakes to cease up causing instant loss of brakes, no warning, drove 4 additonal miles to repair shop after hearing loud grinding, repair shop stated that breaks were ceased due to melted component and within miles would have broken off and severed brake line causing instant failure of vehile brakes. this he noted is common to the pymouth voyegar and dodge caraven in the phoenix. since this is a family van, i am only grateful we did not have the kids in the car when complete failure occur. no warning before it happened. seems the ceramic part is manufacturer error if they don't work in hot weather.*ak |
