Was Vehicle Towed: - | Description of the Complaints: I have noticed over the last three weeks what i believe was tire seperation on my tires so i called to ask if they were having problems with my make and model and was told no. i then drove my truck to the dealership and was informed that my tiers were infact seperating and that i should take them to a general tire store so i did that and it was confirmed by them that my tires are in the proccess of seperation but was told that it is not there problem that it is the dealerships responsibility. the tires are so bad that you can stick your fingernail under the rubber that is starting to come apart. i then drove to yet another dealership and got the same confermation but still no results. i was then left with no choice and had to replace the tires. they told me to hold onto the tires for a possible recall or for your viewing. i have also contacted the sc attorney generals office and they are the folks that told me to contact you. at this point i am out another $1,150.00 for tires that i should not be having to purchase yet, not to mention my safety.( dot number: 0600 tire size: 235/85r16 ) |
