| Was Vehicle Towed: - | Description of the Complaints: All of the ball joints on this vehicle are defective; they wore out completely in less than 18,500 miles of use. this can cause the wheels to fall off, a very dangerous situation, according to an inspector at an official massachusetts vehicle inspection station. the manufacturer acknowledges that the ball joints are defective but will not replace them after the 3 year warranty period, even though the vehicle has only 18,500 miles on it. according to the manufacturer, this problem affects many hummers built in 1995. |
