| Was Vehicle Towed: - | Description of the Complaints: The abs system in my truck engages at times when it should not and dramatically reduces stopping distance. on sept 6th this resulted in my crashing into a light pole causing some major damage. pictures of the damage may be viewed on my website, http://www.geocities.com/treading_lightly/damage.html this abs system has caused quite a few close calls for me. once, it engaged when slowing down for a tollbooth on the pennsylvania turnpike. when my tires hit a wet metal expansion joint in the booth lane, the abs engaged and i went right thru. this abs system is way too sensitive and dangerously unsafe. |
