Was Vehicle Towed: - | Description of the Complaints: The fuse for the electric door locks blows on an intermittent basis (usually within 4-30 days). the failure disables the electric door locks as well as the vehicle alarm system, keyless entry system and "alarm panic button" feature. vehicle is driven by a female (my wife). keyless/alarm were mandatory safety features that we required for vehicle purchase (standard equipment on this model). vehicle has been in 7 times for this problem. honda has been unable to repair. honda has replaced master door lock switch and found/repaired a wiring harness defect. problem continues uncorrected (keyless and alarm system are therefore not reliable). honda has added 12 or more additional fuses to the vehicle this has not corrected the problem. |
