Was Vehicle Towed: - | Description of the Complaints: I would like to report a stress problem with the windshield on my car. while in florida i had a large line start running down the middle of the windshield to the middle and then accross towards the drivers side. there was no crack or chip anywhere in the windshield. it created a vision problem as it kept flickering light. this condition was worse at night. the ford dealer in kissimmee told me he had a lot of this problem and it was stress. he could not replace it as ford would give him a hard time. i had to drive home with this. the driving at night was worse as the flickering became a series of blue and white. the car was taken to a glass company and they could not find a crack anywhere. they said it was a stress problem. we took it to nassar ford in lawrence, mass and they called ford and they replaced the windsheild. ford should be made to fix these windshields at any dealer for there customers as it is a serious safety risk to a driver. *ak |
