| Was Vehicle Towed: - | Description of the Complaints: While replacing the fuel filter, both rear brake lines were noted to be severly rusted. by the time the fuel filter was removed from the holding bracket (this bracket also holds the brake lines above the filter) the brake lines started to leak. manufacturer does not recommend undercoating, however dealership stated that when they replace brake lines they always undercoat the lines. now, sections of brake line have been replaced, however some sections of the line can't be easily reached and will remain in place. i'm worried that the lines will rupture when i'm driving and need to brake hard. help! |
