| Was Vehicle Towed: - | Description of the Complaints: Traveling down the interstate at 75 mph with my two children and husband, and the tread completely and fully seperated at the side wall of the tire. a policeman stopped right behind us and remarked that we must have firestone wilderness tires on it because just about a week before an expidition had 4 fatalaties because of a blowout with the same tires, about 1 mile up the road. no one in our vehicle was injured in our vehicle. we had contacted our dealer, chevrolet, othe tire stores, and firestone/bridgestone. all basically said that it was our problem and that we had better get them changed because they are "death tires" and bridgestone hung up on us after they remarked that there is nothing wrong with their tires, it was because we didn't know how to drive a suv.
