| Was Vehicle Towed: - | Description of the Complaints: The power steering pump on these trucks provides the steering assist and brake assist. when you apply the brakes moderately hard to hard, you have no power steering assist and the steering wheel locks up due to the weight of the vehicle. this makes braking and steering impossible. ford is doing little to resolve this problem. they also have oem ball joints that are sealed and they get stiff which makes turning the wheel without power assist impossible. |
