Was Vehicle Towed: - | Description of the Complaints: The metal frame of the driver's seat popped off of the vehicle's frame when my husband leaned back to get some change out of his pocket. the metal bar that is bolted to the car frame just ripped away from the bolt, like a piece of fabric. i have saved the seat frame in case you want a picture. i was concerned that other suburbans might have the same problem and the driver would only find out upon an impact, in which case the driver would probably get strangled by the seatbelt. i would like to know if any other similar defects have been reported.*ak |
