Was Vehicle Towed: - | Description of the Complaints: Engine quit entirely when traveling at 77 mph on interstate .was able to coast into rest area. was towed to nissan dealer in tallahassee , fl and the fuel pump was replaced. this was not reported at the time to ntsa . i am reporting this now because i now know the problem is wide spread. my son in law bought a quest the same time and he has had 4 failures.2 occured last week. we now find out his sister owns a quest and she has had a failure. it appears the failure occurs at high speeds in hot driving conditions. my concern now is it will happen again if the problem still exists. i have not duplicated those conditions i just described since my incident, but my son in law has. he lives in ca.*ak |
