| Was Vehicle Towed: - | Description of the Complaints: 10/31/00 , gm repl engine cradle/frame to alleviate clunk ing noise prt#10288271. dealer said to have done rack &pinion with no success nothing on invoice for latter. 5/10/01, same noise & vibrat in steer, tech says leak gear ,replac gear assembly prt#26079929.8/8/01 milage#23725 noise is back and the same this time called a worn steering shaft. replaced prt#26078302 .8/29/01 miles#24608 noise still present . tech can not identify. called gm each time they insist the dealer is fixing it ,hardly. they have replaced just about every prt they are fixing by process of elimination. repairs this extensive on 14928 miles,19988,23725, &still there tell me there is a defect in this model. every bump is vibrating in the steering wheel &clunking can be felt. everything feels loose & shakey. something is just not right and it scares me to think i put my family in this car , with no real answers. it has been the same defect from the first visit to the dealer and it remains. please help.*ak |
