Was Vehicle Towed: - Description of the Complaints: The first time my drivers seat belt did not retract and hold me was on sept 5, 2000. i notified king chevrolet. i have had my car in the shop several time more over the past 13 1/2 months. they keep telling me that the part is on back order. i have stressed to them that this is a safety issue. i have had to put on my brakes a few times suddenly. each time, it did not hold me and i jerked my neck. the first time, i hit the side of my driver's window so hard i had an egg knot and had to go to the er. i have given them 14 months (next week) to fix this. all they tell me is that they will call me when it's in. this is a safety feature that i feel should be looked into as someone else may not be so lucky. june hatfield. *ak
