Was Vehicle Towed: - | Description of the Complaints: From date of purchase we had concerns on how braking system worked. manufacturer has told us for 2 years brakes are fine. motor home has been in shop for brakes, it has had 4 sets of pads, 2nd set of rotors, 2nd set of calibors, in less than 13,000 miles. the coach has been unused since april 2001 and is now in shop, due to heating problems of brakes. we have had the coach at oregon light truck repair talking with them, they feel this coach is extremly under braked. manufacture has discontuned contact other than attorneys. while driving coach brakes get extremly hot and you can smell them. when looking at front brakes you can see the smoke because they are so hot. brakes get to smoking point in any driving condition. manufacture states that when brakes get hot that it is common. we and the repair people (that we have the coach at now) disagree with beaver. front brakes will get hot enough to discolor alumunim wheels. please contact us with any futher questions. *ak |
