| Was Vehicle Towed: - | Description of the Complaints: I purchased a new 2000 jaguar s-type in april of 2000. since that time, i 've had recurring problems with the transmission. jaguar replaced the original trans. with a new one at 8801 miles. since that time, the trans has not worked properly. the vehicle when on a moderate slope, will roll back uncontrollably when the trans. is engaged from reverse to drive. jaguar stated at first this is normal until a representative flew out to disclose that there is a serious design flaw with the car. they would like for a structural engineer to look at car to see if he can remedy the problem. i've been back and forth to dealership without any success. i would like you to check on this problem before someone gets seriously injured or killed! also, they will not give me a receipt for work they did on car on april 2, 2002. service manager stated he couldn't because he had to protect dealership. |
