| Was Vehicle Towed: - | Description of the Complaints: Recall 99i006000/ manufacturer's recall 99046; consumer is having a brake problem. consumer had recall repairs done, and engine check light kept coming on. dealer told consumer to drive it home because the computer needed to be reset. consumer then found that there was a wire lying on the floor. dealer forgot to reconnect it, and that caused engine check light to stay on. dealers had to put back the old part for the brake module instead of the new part because consumer has to get the hydraulic brakes fixed before they could put new part in for the brake module . when the brakes were applied after leaving the dealer, they went straight to the floor & started doing a up& down motion before they finally stopped vehicle from rearending another vehicle. *ak |
