| Was Vehicle Towed: - | Description of the Complaints: Consumer has a stick shift, and driving through traffic one day throttle wouldn't return. at that time there was no recall. consumer purchased a new throttle and put it on. consumer located recall 01v037000/ manufacturer's recall 97, )and contacted manufacturer. this vehicle was not included in recall due to vin. *ak consumer states upon replacing the cable for the throttle, it was clearly evident that the cable was badly frayed and got caught on the rubber tube and caused an open stuck throttle. *jb |
