Was Vehicle Towed: - | Description of the Complaints: Caliper has had to be replaced on two separate occasions within 100,000 to 150,000 miles. dealer notified. *ak the consumer states that the caliper mount slide area, which is a part of the knuckle assembly, was worn beyond repair, at eight brake pad plate contact areas. the brake pads hung up in wear grooves, causing delayed movement of pads from caliper hydraulic pressure when stepping on the brake pedal, resulting in increased brake response time, reducing efficiency and increasing danger to the driver and others in the path of the driver. *scc |
