Was Vehicle Towed: - | Description of the Complaints: I have a 94 intrepid that has a lurch when coming to a stop and has problems going into gear when it gets cold. i was told that the seals installed at the factory were faulty and the tsb instructs that new updated ones be installed with the overhaul. also that the tcm (transmission control module) be update from a dealer to correct the cold engagement issue, the one i have now can not be updated and i need a new one. i was hoping to avoid the $2000+ overhaul. i have over a dozen e-mails from others with the same problem and have been on many web sites where others have had the same problems with dodge transmissions. i have not had the car repaird yet because i can not afford the repair yet and have been shifting into nutral before coming to a stop to avoid the lurch. i feel this is a factory defect and have call the factory but they are unwilling to do anything unless thousands call and complain. lmk if you can help. |
