Was Vehicle Towed: - Description of the Complaints: Intermittently the brake pedal is depressed, mostly in a panic situation, brake feels engaged, but instead a moaning noise occurs, followed by brake failure. vehicle like it's skidding on ice. when this occurs consumer has to bump the brake pedal for the brakes to engage. the entire braking system and the front end were replaced, but the failure recurred. abs recall 99v193000 was issued on this problem, but this vehicle was not included in the recall due to vin. *ak
