Was Vehicle Towed: - | Description of the Complaints: I know of 5 people who own a taurus and/or mercury sable,who's transmission has failed. all of these cars were under 100,000 miles. it took 15 yrs to recall the ignition modules. what's it going to take to recall these defective transmissions. i am an ase certified mechanic and have talked with several transmission shops. they have seen many,many of these transmission failures and know for a fact""""" there is a defective part on the inside drive train that causes fluid to leak internally resulting in slippage i have broken a drive axle on mine. *jb |
