Was Vehicle Towed: - | Description of the Complaints: I purchased a 1999 tahoe used in 2001 form an individual. shortly after purchasing it i began to notice the unwanted antilock activation. on many occasions when attempting to stop the automobile i have experienced unwanted antilock activation with the braking system. i can not tell you the number of times this has happened because it happens everytime i try to stop the car. i have not, as of yet, been involved in an accident although, i have had many very close calls. i recently heard of the recall in the "salt belt" states and would like to inform you that i live in north carolina and have the same problem with the antilock braking system on my tahoe. i have repeatedly had my tahoe in the shop to have the brakes checked. i also own a 2005 gmc pickup with antilock brakes and do not have this problem with it. *nm |
