| Was Vehicle Towed: - | Description of the Complaints: While on vacation in our 23' rv we had a tread separation on the left rear tire. it was a general tire, adop9kk294 dk-49814l2301 30102. it did a lot of damage, we were on route 40 at mile post 346 going through arizona when this happened. the amount of damage was $1233.22. the blowout caused damage to the fender well, plumbing, electrical and lp lines. before we left on our vacation i had the rv checked out including tire tread, tire pressure, wheel bearings, hoses and belts. this work was performed by sirpilla rv in akron oh. i was leery of the other rear tires even though the rv dealer in arizona said they were okay. i had all back 4 tires changed to cooper tires. *ak (dot number: adop9kk294 tiresize: 16) |
