Was Vehicle Towed: - Description of the Complaints: Have had three flat tires in the last year for no reason. i don't know if there is a problem with the tire or the wheel. the last time the tire went flat and was inspected by a non goodyear dealer, i was told there was a defect in the sidewall. he said if it was a product that he carried they would have replaced the tire. the tires have a lot of tread wear left and have been rotated and balanced. goodyear replaced the tire admitting there was a problem but still charged me $94.00. i am very unhappy with the fact that i drive a car less than two years old, take good care of it and have these problems. i currently have another flat tire and will have it inspected later this week. each tire that has gone flat has been on a different wheel in a different area each time. no two flats have been on the same wheel. most of my driving is in town. i have probably put 6,000 highway miles on the car on various trips. i have never exceeded 80 mph and have not had any handling problems.
