| Was Vehicle Towed: - | Description of the Complaints: We were hit head on at 50+mph in our 1999 nissan pathfinder.the car was a total loss ,the air bags did not deploy.i contacted nissan and was told that some times the air bags work,sometimes they dont and we cannot put that in the owners manual because consumers will ask ,why have airbags ?was told by nissan that for airbags to deploy i would have to apply the brakes first before an unexspected head on collision.myself my wife and our 21month old child were all injured.nissan said they will mail us the supplement to the owners manual explaining why the airbags didnot go off, that does me a lot of good now that we are all injured.*ak |
