Was Vehicle Towed: - | Description of the Complaints: We have had problems with this every since we bought this pickup.. it has kept dying on us, we have had it in the stop many, many times, they have replaced the computer, fuel injection, about 4 or 6 times, the service manager told us that the mfg has had problems with all these trucks, it first came out on the 1994 models, they had problems with it then, but they still put it on the 95 models even though they knew. my warranty is up now, we r still having problems with this fuel injection, it died on going down the road at least 5 times, once i was in consruction and couldnt pull over, i almost got hit from behind, the other times i have been able to pull over to the shoulder. the mfg needs to recall this and fix it the right way so it doesnt happen again.. the service manager at dealer said this will keep happening over and over because of the default it has.. his name is [xxx], he works for the dealer weslaco motors. *ak parts of this document have been redacted to protect personally identifiable information pursuant to the freedom of information act (foia), 5 u.s.c. 552(b)(6). |
