Was Vehicle Towed: - | Description of the Complaints: Radiator got punctured by a less than a dime-sized object, through the lower front grill. the air conditioning parts were narrowly missed. there should be a better design to protect the radiator from punctures from road debris. fortunately, we made it home without overheating, since it apparently occured just before we came back home, without completely losing coolant. acura refused to cover it under warrantee, claiming the radiator was not defective. but it got punctured because of poor defective design of protecting it from ordinary road debris of normal highway driving on paved highways! the resultant failure of the radiator from road debris puncture because of inadequate protective design, should be covered under warrantee. replacing the radiator, does not guarantee that it won't happen again!*ak |
