Was Vehicle Towed: - Description of the Complaints: The vehicle has been taken in the the dealer5s shop on three occassions because of serpentine belt failure.the compressor went out on our vacation last may and we were stuck in alabama for three days with hotels and reapir costs.in feb, 2001 we took the vehicle back into dealer because of a roaring noise.we read on the internet that it was dangerous and was probably the powertrain.it was.cost $2200.00 dollars but after complaining about the low milage on the vehicle they split 50/50.there has been several....complaints via internet that others have had this same problem..i think gmc should be held liable for faulty part and manuf. i feel this vehicle is unsafe .
