Was Vehicle Towed: - Description of the Complaints: The front windshield wipers don't work sporadically. this has happened since january 2000. i have taken it to a small service station, a goodyear station, and heiser chevrolet. none of them can find the problem because it doesn't happen the day they have it. i just want to know the cause so i can get it fixed. it happens during rain, snow, sleet and dry days. it only affects the front wipers. the back wiper works fine even when the front wipers will not work. the front washer fluid also does not work when the wipers do not work. i turn them on and absolutely nothing happens, no attempt to work, no noise, nothing. it's as if i never turned them on. i just keep trying them, and eventually they work as if nothing was ever wrong. this can take anywhere from 5 minutes after i start driving, to the next time i drive the vehicle. i am an accident waiting to happen. i want to know if anyone has experienced this problem, and what the solution is. thank you.
