| Was Vehicle Towed: - | Description of the Complaints: With less than 2,000 miles wear the first tire tread separated slowing from interstate highway speed to a stop, minor damage occurred to r.v. a second tire experienced the same tread separation after highway travel and was noted on a routine safety check by driver. mileage on this tire was less than 3,000. a third tire separated on the reporting date. this was noticed by out of round appearance when seen in the side view mirror. all four tires were purchased new, at the same time. the first two tires were replaced, at no cost, by cooper tire dealers. the remaining two were replaced at personal expense. at no time were tires subjected to greater than rated loads. separation was in the main body of the tire.*ak (dot number: cvk328 tiresize: 225/75-15) |
