| Was Vehicle Towed: - | Description of the Complaints: April 30 2001 while proceeded home after picking up my new traveltrailer i stopped for gas in ithaca mi. as i was filling up i noticed trailer plug was out of my electrical plug in on my truck. miraculously i found a napa repair shop able to repair my trailer plug. as i was entering the freeway again i noticed headlights out on the trailer again. *ak i was able to get back to the repair shop and between the mechanic and i we determined that the electical cord coming from the trailer was not long enough to accomodate turns on the vehicle and the plug would come out of the electical connection. we then put on a shorter reciever on the hit ch and it solved the problem. on may 2, 2001, i contacted aliner in mammoth pa. (724) 423-7440 and the general manager returned my call, they agreed to make an adjustment to my loss but didnt seem too concerned about the safety problem i adressed. |
