| Was Vehicle Towed: - | Description of the Complaints: The front brake inner pad came apart all at once and caused the brake pedal to feel as if it sank to the floor. a loud grinding sound was heard and we parked the vehicle. upon investigation, i found the inner pad lining completly missing and the plate rivits gouging the disk rotor. maybe the lining was cracked and it finally let loose? i didn't hear any of the associated "squeaking" you normally hear when disk brake pads are getting worn. the outer pad looked good. $300.00 later, i have new front brakes. *ak |
