Was Vehicle Towed: - Description of the Complaints: Consumer states that the check engine light in the vehicle came on. the dealership examined the vehicle and informed the consumer that the vehicle was safe to drive if the window is kept open. the dealership ordered a new fuel pump and replaced the component two weeks later. upon examination of the old fuel pump, the wires of the pump looked as if they were burned. consumer feels that this is a safety defect. please provide any additional information. *ak
