Was Vehicle Towed: - | Description of the Complaints: Carbon buildup. the truck has been in the shop 3 times for what the dealer says is carbon buildup. it happens about every 2500 miles. the last time in the dealer said chevy knew it had a problem with the design of the pistons. the new pistons would be out in late 2001 or early 2002 and to keep driving it for now. i did not pay $ 35,000.00 to hear a engine knock. thanks for your help in this matter. |
