| Was Vehicle Towed: - | Description of the Complaints: On may 30, 2001 i took my 1992 dodge cummins turbo diesel 250 to swift auto world north for service. when they hoisted it to drain the oil the "front, right lower control arm" part no. 52037614, fell loose from the "ball joint" part no. 3683983ab. i was told, "if this had happened while driving i would have lost stearing control of the truck". i was lucky, but there are thousands of this model truck out there that the owners should be notified of this problem. is there any way that dodge can be required to notify them? that is my only purpose in reporting this to you, to possibly save a life. |
