Was Vehicle Towed: - | Description of the Complaints: Heater blower switch over heating on high speed and an eventual failure to work. i have replaced the switch 3 times in four years. each time the old switch was removed it was starting a melt down which could lead to an eventual vehicle fire and or serious accident. i threw away the old parts but will have another soon. the switch is starting to stick in the high speed position, just like all the previous occurrences. the dealership just shrugs and says huh, that's strange. i happen to know a lot of other instances on other year models and vehicles. toyota needs to recognize this potential hazard and expense and find a solution to the over draw on the switch. *nm |
