Was Vehicle Towed: - Description of the Complaints: Rear back window has been leaking, im sure since before we purchased the vehicle. weatherstrip has been replaced twice, window has been removed and repositioned twice, and this last time in shop was kia motors final attempt. repair shop used an "after market" window sealant to try to cover up leaks. aftermarket sealant is all on top of inside of the window and is even on the healiner. back deck, rear seats, and 1/4 of headliner has been soaked due to water leak. unfortunately water is leaking into spare tire compartmnet now. dealer/repair shop doesn't know what else to do with this rear window. also my drivers back passenger window leaks. it has also been in shop 5 times to be fixed. this last time they replaced door panel and realigned drivers door and back drivers passenger door. we were told that this window will still leak during a manual car wash. we are now looking to kia motors of america to replace the vehicle. the windows that i mentioned, the rear back window is not to factory specifications. we feel that if it didnt come off the assembly line with black goop in the inside of the window then it shouldn't be returned to us that way either. we feel kia and the dealer are just trying to cover up the problem instead of findng out why and how it leaks. we have suggested that maybe there is a defect in the metal mold of the vehicle, instead of the window itself.*ak
