Was Vehicle Towed: - Description of the Complaints: The vehicle will at any but it has happend 7 times prior to 06/24/01 it occured four times that day. when getting up to highway speed , something takes over the accelerator and the only way it can be stopped is turn the key and put truck in neutral. with the key off you lose braking. i have had it in for repair four times in the last two months. i have called chev customer service no one can help me. this truck has been doing this since new harrell chev went out of business i did have it on record i think. i carried it to the buick/chev dealer no help. this problem cannot be duplicated they tell me. it cant be in the garage it happens on the highway. the tach will go to 4 and 5 and do this until what ever causes the the accelerator releasesthis is dangerous situation and i need it repaired all that they have done is squirt oil one the acc line this the extent of repair done. *ak
