| Was Vehicle Towed: - | Description of the Complaints: The exhaust manifold snapped off at least one of the bolts holding the cover on. john at magic muffler in thousand oaks (805-496-2436) pointed out the problem to us and said it was very common in the nissan quests. my brother also had the same problem with his quest on more then one occasion. the exhaust manifold supposedly warps and snaps the bolts holding it on. nissan said that there is no recall for this problem? if it is a common problem or flaw in design, why is there not a recall? i was informed from several different repair shops that this would cost me $320 to $1600 depending on how many of the bolts are broken off into the housing.*ak |
