Was Vehicle Towed: - | Description of the Complaints: We have now had 2 incidents with tire separation. i sent the first tire to firestone along with their form so we can them take care of the damage done with the first problem. in mid july firestones paralegal sent me a letter saying that the tire was not defective. a week and 1/2 ago i had a sescond tire separation. neither tire was a blow out. the tread just separated. i have the 2nd tire of which it is mostly together except for the 8" portion that started to come apart. i am not very happy with firestone to say the least. we are definately changing all tires but firestone needs to reimburse us for the damage & replacement tires. i plan to sue firestone if no action is taken by them. their lack of addressing the problem is a shame. fortuanately no one has been hurt- just a lot of frustration.*ak |
