Was Vehicle Towed: - Description of the Complaints: While backing out of a parking place the two bolts that hold the short rack to the frame sheered off at the frame causing complete loss of steering. the new bolts obtained from chrysler were gold in color instead of black like the originals which indicated to my mechanic that the new ones had a different heat treating process. i have the bolts and pieces plus pictures of same and will provide either upon request. had i not been in a parking lot this could have been a desaster. while i have received other recall notices for this car i never received one on this.
