| Was Vehicle Towed: - | Description of the Complaints: The first failure occurred on the freeway. the tread came off and the tire was completely destroyed. i took it to firestone to replace the tire--there was no recall at the time. the second time, 2 weeks ago, the tire tread whipped around inside the wheel well and wrecked my fender and running board. i almost got run off the road and came close to a major accident. i then purchased 4 new michelin tires for safety sake. i called firestone and their "customer service " said they wouldn't do anything about this as these tires aren't under recall!! please do something about these tires---people will get hurt and/or killed with them!!!!! thank you. p.s. after reviewing this, we typed 0 people were injured or killed, but your system puts in a number????*ak (tiresize: lt26575r16) |
