| Was Vehicle Towed: - | Description of the Complaints: The fuel filter clogs but there is a short bypass hose to the middle level of the tank, when the filter clogs the system receives unfiltered through the bypass hose, when the level goes below 1/2 tank. the pump sucks air and the system shuts down for lack of fuel. this is a design flaw and not a critical safety problem but it does affect safety to an extent. i.e. you think you have a half tank of gas. but it may stop at any time without warning. o in heavy traffic lor on the rail road tracks. |
